Leo is a charming young female dog who needs a little time at first to build trust. She’s especially cautious around new people initially and usually warms up to women more quickly than to men. Once she’s gained confidence, however, she shows her big heart: Leo becomes very affectionate, cuddly, and loves nothing more than to be right close to her people.
Leo generally gets along well with other dogs. However, she can sometimes react with uncertainty when encountering other dogs. If other dogs get too close to her, she can also become a bit jealous at times and wants to have her caregiver all to herself.
Leo is good at winding down and enjoys it when things are quiet and relaxed. When there’s a lot of commotion, she likes to retreat to a safe spot where she can observe what’s going on in peace. She should continue to be allowed to do this.
Leo loves going for walks and already walks well on a leash. She’s also used to riding in the car. She’s a bit nervous at first, but after a while she manages to relax and even lie down.
For Leo, we’re looking for experienced and patient people who understand that trust takes time and are willing to give her that time. People who make her feel safe, don’t pressure her, and help her navigate the world with increasing confidence.
Leo was born in April 2024 and is chipped and fully vaccinated.

Benji, born in July 2025, is a young, happy and very affectionate dog who, at just one year old, is still in the middle of growing and developing. He is active, playful and full of energy and is looking for people who enjoy learning and growing together with him while giving him the guidance and structure he needs.
Benji absolutely loves water and toys and is always excited to take part in activities with his humans. At the same time, he still finds it difficult to settle down and relax. In new situations or around other dogs, he can sometimes feel insecure. When overwhelmed, he may show displacement behaviours as a way of coping with his excitement and emotions. He is also still learning to control and coordinate his own body – something that is quite typical for a young dog who is still developing physically and emotionally.
One of Benji’s greatest strengths is that he orients himself very well towards people. He is attentive, eager to learn and already listens well. He loves being close to his humans, is loyal and genuinely wants to please. With patient, loving and consistent guidance, he will certainly continue to make great progress.
One important issue to be aware of is food guarding. Benji currently guards his food, so he needs responsible handling and people who are willing to work on this calmly and positively.

Für Kiwi, born in December 2025, was a tough nut to crack. For weeks, he wandered around completely alone and frightened on the main road near the shelter. Volunteers from Filia fed him every day, but it was impossible to get close to him, and several attempts to catch him failed. In July, the moment finally arrived—one attempt succeeded, and Kiwi moved into the shelter. There, he’s surprising everyone; though he was completely frightened and shy at first, he’s opening up more and more. He enjoys playing with the other dogs, is learning a lot within the pack, is curious, and is also becoming increasingly comfortable around people. We’re looking for a home for Kiwi with experience raising dogs—people who are eager to give this young dog a chance to experience what a safe home feels like, provide him with clear routines, and support him as he grows up. Kiwi is microchipped and fully vaccinated.

As her name suggests, Summer was born around the summer of 2022. She showed up on our street, her teats still full of milk. Her puppies were nowhere to be found. Now Summer lives in Filia and is looking for her forever home. She’s hoping for a home where she can find peace and quiet—without children or other dogs—with experienced people who will give her a second chance at life and show her what consistency, clear rules, and a sense of security mean. Summer is microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Stella was born in May 2025 and was abandoned along with her siblings. A woman from the neighborhood took care of the little pack, but unfortunately she couldn’t keep them. Her brother Mango has already found a home through Filia, and now Stella is also looking for a family. Stella is very people-oriented and loves to cuddle. She loves being active and would thrive with a family that enjoys hiking and long walks and has dog experience in proper training. We are looking for a home, where she won’t have to stay alone a lot of hours. Stella is spayed and vaccinated.

Lotte and her sister Zita were born around 11/25 and were abandoned as puppies. When Lotte arrived at the shelter, she was suffering from a severe eye infection, so her left eye had to be removed. But even as a one-eyed pirate, it quickly became clear that although she is still small, she can already hold their own against the bigger dogs. Lotte is very affectionate and friendly toward people and loves playing with the other dogs. She’s been vaccinated and microchipped and will be a small sized dog.
