Möttis arrived at the shelter in very poor condition. He had bladder stones, the ligaments in his back-leg were damaged, and to make matters worse, he had been shot with an air gun and had two bullets lodged in his body. Despite all this, he showed a strong will to live. After his injured leg was amputated and following many treatment sessions, Möttis can now move around again without pain and is very people-oriented and cuddly. Unfortunately, his health issues didn’t end there: Möttis was diagnosed with FIV (feline AIDS). It is a chronic disease and is contagious to other cats. He is now looking for a loving home, either with another FIV-positive cat or on his own. Unfortunately, he is also incontinent, which means it would be best for him to live in a fenced outdoor area or garden without contact with healthy cats. His condition is not contagious to humans or dogs! We hope to find Möttis a suitable home where he can live in peace and dignity. He is a very sweet boy, super cuddly, friendly and deserves so much a second chance! Möttis is vaccinated, chipped and spayed.

Patty and her brother Smith were abandoned as kittens next to a trash can in our village. Since they weren’t yet able to fend for themselves, they were taken in by the shelter. There, they are growing up to be active and playful kittens. Both are very people-oriented and love getting plenty of cuddles. Born in late March 2026, they have already received their first vaccination and are looking for a forever home. They can be adopted as single or together.

Nala and her newborn puppy were abandoned in our village. While her little one has already been adopted, Nala is still looking for her forever home. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, but we believe she would be happiest as a single-princess. Nala is very cuddly, affectionate, and loving, and she loves being surrounded by her favorite people. She was likely born in 2021 and is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Batida was born 07/25 outside in the woods. She moved into the Filía shelter with her two sisters Negroni and Mojito. It is obvious that they grew up without human contact…
The three girls were very shy and scared when they arrived, we could not touch them and they always kept their distance. After some weeks they are making good progress, even starting their leash training now.
Batida is the most outgoing and curios of the three girls but she needs some more time and good experiences to gain trust and grow more confident. She is a barker out if insecurity but once she is familiar with the other dogs she is friendly.

Mojito is the shyest of the three girls but we see in her open curios eyes that she just needs some more time and good experiences to gain trust and grow more confident. She is not a barker, stays more in the background. She is friendly with other dogs and cats.
